Leh, 15 August: LAHDC, Leh celebrated India’s 74th 'Independence Day' with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Chairman/Chief Executive Counicllor, LAHDC, Leh Gyal P Wangyal hoisted the national flag at Council Secretariat today morning. CEC was accorded a guard of honour by newly formed Ladakh Police for the first time on the occasion.

In his Independence Day message, CEC Wangyal greeted the people and extended his warm greeting on the occasion of the 74th 'Independence Day' celebration. Wangyal conveyed his heartiest greetings and congratulations to the brave soldiers of Ladakh Scouts, ITBP, Ladakh Police, CRP, CISF and BSF forces deployed in Ladakh and Ladakhi students studying across country and abroad.
